A million souls on this planet
A thousand bodies standing

Some live in a place which is heaven
Some live in peace in a small house
Yet they are forced to beg for mercy
And are killed in hunger.

Some lost their loved ones Some got killed waiting for independence
Yet weren’t given any mercy.

Still fighting for freedom
Still losing loved ones
Still begging for freedom Still getting killed.
