Depression is not a choice
It is a force applied,
Unhealed. Scary.
Asked to see the colors when we become color blind.
Life’s motive fades away,
Hope looses its way
Everything starts with despair
And all those reasonable explanations doesn’t help
In times like these we have to keep in mind,
It’s all okay to be a little messed up and color blind,
A resilient battle which you are going to win slowly,
In end you will feel better again,
not just yet but after a while.
Stay indestructible because you will come back to life!
Such wise words at such a young age are truly awe inspiring. With the pandemic only adding to life’s ongoing ups and downs, medications for the heart such as this poem provide the silver lining that we all need.
