Nowadays, technology is a dominant feature in the lives of people around the world. Most daily life activities involve the use of technology which is expanding everyday through scientific innovations. Presently, the development of Robotics science has become a subject of considerable attention in every country, including Pakistan. Our school is also providing us exposure to this technology.

On 10th of February 2019, Sunday, there was an Interschool competition which was organized by Saifiyah Boys High School.

5 students were selected for competition from class 8– 3 boys and 2 girls. We thanked our teachers that they trusted us and gave us the opportunity to prove ourselves.

We were practicing for the competition since two weeks with our Robotics teachers. We were also taken to an advanced Robotics Lab to practice for the competition. Our Robotics teacher Miss Rashida had faith in us that we would be victorious.

The competition was held at Al-Jamea-tus-Safiyah auditorium. There was a large crowd of people who came to watch us. There were four schools who participated in the competition (AMSB, BHS, SBHS and Pingu School). There were 3 levels: construction, programing and demonstration. We secured 1st position in the category of fastest programing.

We secured three awards titled Think smart, Best Team Collaboration and Fastest Programing. We were so honored to be part of this competition and making our school, our teachers and our parents proud.
